South Dakota incumbent Republican lawmaker facing felony election fraud counts

An incumbent South Dakota legislative leader is facing two felony counts for allegedly falsifying signatures to nominate candidates for state Republican Party positions without their knowledge. He turned himself in to jail and has an initial hearing set for July 7, while also stepping down from party duties pending the case.
