Appeals court rules Michigan doesn’t have to hand over sensitive voter data
A federal appeals court ruled that Michigan is not required to provide sensitive voter data to the Trump administration. The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals decision stated Title III of the 1960 Civil Rights Act does not authorize the Justice Department to compel the state to release unredacted information.
