Israeli forces kill unarmed man 'in bedroom' during West Bank home raid

Israeli forces shot and killed unarmed Palestinian man Mustafa al-Khatib, 32, in his bedroom during a raid on his home in Sarta, West Bank. His family and uncle Yaseen al-Khatib reported soldiers forced entry, opened fire on him as he dressed, and blocked access to first aid before withdrawing. The Palestinian health ministry states 72 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces and settlers since January 2026.
