Broward couple accused in yearslong insurance fraud scheme

A Broward County couple, Phillip Salvatore Nunzio Jr. and Christine Ann Nunzio, were arrested for a yearslong insurance fraud scheme involving falsified employment records and life insurance claims through Mutual of Omaha and Lincoln Financial Group. They allegedly submitted fraudulent claims totaling over $274,000, which were laundered through accounts controlled by the couple.
