Polish Opposition Leader to Return Ukrainian Order, Calls for EU Accession Block

Polish Law and Justice party leader Jarosław Kaczyński announced he will return his Ukrainian Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, Second Class, citing loyalty to Poland’s president and his stance toward Ukraine’s authorities. He accused Ukraine of escalating bilateral tensions and called for Poland to block the opening of Ukraine’s EU accession negotiation clusters.
