UK’s King Charles breaks tradition to reveal US$17 million tax bill
King Charles will not reside at Buckingham Palace after its 2025 refurbishment completion, ending a nearly two-century tradition. He disclosed paying £12.9 million (US$17.04 million) in taxes for 2024/25, making him one of Britain’s top 100 taxpayers.
