Union government eases Quality Control Order rules for several sectors for five years

The Union government has eased Quality Control Order rules for several sectors over a five-year period. The change allows selected domestic companies to procure supplies from manufacturers holding Scheme II licenses under BIS regulations, instead of the stricter Scheme I.
