First EU Ukraine Loan Payment Drops Drone Financing
The EU revised the first disbursement of its €90 billion loan for Ukraine, reallocating €5.9 billion from drone production to €3.2 billion in budget support due to technical monitoring requirements. A separate defense funding package for drones, ammunition, and air defense is anticipated soon.
