Venezuela Puts Its Hidden Debt Near $240 Billion
Venezuela is set to reveal total obligations of approximately $240 billion, exceeding previous analyst estimates of $150 billion to $170 billion. Adviser Centerview Partners is expected to release a debt-sustainability roadmap and a macroeconomic framework valuing the economy at around $100 billion in early July.
