Ships crossing Hormuz use Oman passage despite Iran warnings
Traffic in the Strait of Hormuz decreased from Wednesday's peak, but vessels continued using a non-Iranian-approved southern passageway near Oman despite a projectile strike on a ship. Tracking data showed 42 commodity vessels crossed on Thursday, with half opting for the Oman route.
