Doral mother accused of child, animal neglect; cops say son ‘shares his food with the family dog’

A Doral mother, Roxanabel Medina Leon, faces charges after authorities found her 11-year-old son hungry and sharing limited food with the family dog in a filthy apartment. The boy was discovered wandering a parking garage seeking food, and police reported the residence had no dog food, expired meals, and unsanitary conditions.
