Israel and Lebanon sign framework agreement with US in ‘first step’ toward peace, Rubio says
Israel and Lebanon, along with the United States, signed a framework agreement described as a first step toward peace following months of conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. The agreement was announced by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and signed by Israeli Ambassador Yechiel Leiter and Lebanese Ambassador Nada Hamadeh.
