Polygamous sect leader guilty of abuse after girls found in trailer on highway

Samuel Bateman, a polygamous sect leader, was convicted of state child abuse charges after three girls aged 11 to 14 were found in an unventilated trailer he was hauling through Arizona. Bateman is already serving a 50-year federal prison sentence for orchestrating child sexual abuse.
