Federal government permits release of Anthropic’s Mythos model to select companies
The U.S. government lifted its export ban on Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5 AI model, allowing the company to share it with over 100 companies. A spokesperson for Anthropic confirmed the decision to The Hill, marking a reversal from previous restrictions on Mythos 5 and its counterpart Fable.
