Agriculture department urges coastal Karnataka farmers to subscribe to crop insurance scheme
The agriculture department is urging farmers in coastal Karnataka to enroll in a crop insurance scheme. Insured farmers will receive 50% of the sum insured immediately if sowing fails in 75% of a notified area due to deficient rains.
