MDSO: Boy, 5, killed after being struck by pickup truck at Krome Motorcross Park

A 5-year-old boy was killed after being struck by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck while riding a bicycle at Krome Motorcross Park in northwest Miami-Dade. The crash occurred around 9:13 p.m., and the boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed the Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating, and a scheduled race at the park was canceled.
