Metro Detroit will experience warmer weather this weekend, with temperatures rising into the 80s, followed by an extreme heat wave next week with highs in the upper 90s to lower 100s and a heat index up to 110. A 4Warn Weather Alert has been declared for the dangerous heat, which could break the last 100°F record set in 2012.
