Man flown out of the BWCA following a machete injury to his leg
A man in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) was flown out for medical treatment after sustaining a severe leg injury from using a machete. The Minnesota Air Rescue Team transported him to Ely Airport, where an ambulance took him to the hospital. Authorities report his injuries are non-life-threatening.
