Iran announces plans for Seyyed Ali Khamenei funeral, farewell ceremonies
Iran has announced two-day public farewell and funeral ceremonies for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was killed in US-Israeli strikes on 28 February. The events, organized by Brigadier General Hassan Hassanzadeh, will take place on 4 and 5 July, with processions in Tehran and Qom, and authorities expect up to 35 million participants.
