Interior ministry tops AGP audit irregularities
A 399-page Auditor General of Pakistan report highlights 65 audit observations against the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, including non-deposited Rs56m in arms licence receipts and procedural violations. Other ministries and departments faced 31-18 audit issues, with non-recoveries of Rs22m in fees and Rs27m in private security company payments also noted.
