Steeper prices ahead after Qatar gas supply cut off, HK Electric tells customers
HK Electric has informed customers that higher energy prices are expected following a cutoff of gas supply from Qatar due to Middle East conflicts. The company's CEO stated that no gas has been received from Qatar since March, as Iranian strikes damaged production facilities critical to the Lamma Island power plant's supply.
