Homeless man blamed for dangerous fire between Sherman Oaks homes

A 13-year-old helped save his family’s Sherman Oaks home by waking to the sound of a brush fire burning outside at 3 a.m. on Saturday. The fire, which occurred in the 14000 block of Hesby Street, is being blamed on a homeless man captured on surveillance cameras by neighbors.
