Hong Kong eases licensing criteria for rural guest houses and campsites

Hong Kong has relaxed licensing requirements for rural guest houses and campsites, allowing more flexibility in building and fire safety standards to promote tourist accommodations outside urban areas. The Home Affairs Department introduced two new license application guides, including a first-of-its-kind guide for village houses and an updated guide for holiday campsites.
