Delhi government clears EV policy: Electric cars under ₹30 lakh to be exempt from road tax, registration fees
Delhi government approved an EV policy exempting electric cars under ₹30 lakh from road tax and registration fees. From January 1, 2027, only electric autorickshaws will be registered, and petrol/CNG two-wheelers will be phased out, replaced by electric two-wheelers by April 1, 2028.
