Highways Department gets administrative makeover for faster completion of projects
The Highways Department has merged its Construction and Maintenance, Projects, NABARD and Rural Roads, and Metro wings into a unified C&M wing. The new structure divides operations into four regional divisions—Chennai, Madurai, Tiruchi, and Coimbatore—each led by a Chief Engineer to accelerate project completion.
