Man, 57, dead in Roseland shooting

A 57-year-old man was killed in a shooting on the Far South Side of Chicago early Monday. The incident occurred at 4:15 a.m. in the 9900 block of South State Street, and the victim was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Center in Oak Lawn. No arrests have been made, and Area 2 detectives are investigating.
