Fire danger remains high across good portion of Colorado

Fire danger remains high across much of Colorado due to dry, windy conditions and ongoing wildfires. Air quality alerts are in effect until 4 p.m. Monday due to smoke from western wildfires and new blazes in western Colorado. Red flag warnings persist for higher-terrain areas along and south of Interstate 70, with fire weather watches issued for Tuesday.
