Fatal single-car crash in Carlton County leaves 1 dead, 1 critical

A single-vehicle crash in Carlton County resulted in one fatality and one critical injury on Sunday evening. The two men from the Barnum area were airlifted, with one pronounced dead at the scene and the other taken to a Duluth hospital. The sheriff’s office confirmed the incident at the intersection of Thompson Road and Kangas Road.
