South Shore Line continues holiday train schedule after Indiana freight train derailment

South Shore Line trains are operating on a holiday schedule through July 3 following a June 24 freight train derailment and power loss near East Chicago, Indiana. Temporary shuttle service between Miller and Hegewisch stations continues, with partial service restored to the Monon Corridor.
