Charges: Northland Community School teacher slapped student in classroom

A Northland Community School teacher, Kristen Anne Panchyshyn, faces fifth-degree assault charges after allegedly slapping a student in her classroom in May. The incident occurred when the student, who was in ISS, reportedly said words she disliked, leading her to strike him. Panchyshyn is scheduled for arraignment on July 20.
