Manhattan DA presses 3D printer companies to prevent people from making ghost guns
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg led a group of prosecutors in urging major 3D printer companies to implement technology blocking the production of unlicensed 3D-printed firearms. The prosecutors argued that 3D-printed guns, which lack serial numbers and evade detection, pose a significant public safety risk by enabling dangerous individuals to bypass background checks and security measures.
