Telangana HC asks ECI to consider Urdu forms in SIR exercise
The Telangana High Court has directed the Election Commission of India (ECI) to consider using Urdu forms in the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SIR) exercise. A social worker from Karimnagar district petitioned the court, challenging the exclusive use of Telugu in enumeration forms.
