As heatwave nears, Detroit winter mitten nonprofit suffers setback

A burst pipe damaged over 12,000 pairs of gloves and mittens stored by Detroit nonprofit Mittens for Detroit, causing a setback as they prepare for winter distribution. The nonprofit is seeking community help to rebuild its inventory ahead of the cold-weather season.
