Dangerous heat wave to hit parts of U.S. ahead of July 4

A dangerous heat wave is expected to impact parts of the U.S. ahead of July 4, with over 100 record-high temperatures projected in the eastern half of the country through Saturday night. Meteorologist Lonnie Quinn reported the forecast.
