A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after being injured in a suspected drive-by shooting on Detroit’s east side on June 29. Police responded to the 3700 block of 16th Street around 10:15 p.m., where the teen was found with a gunshot wound. He is expected to survive, but no suspects or vehicles have been identified.
