Mainland China revises criteria for settling in Hong Kong, Macau
Mainland China's immigration authorities are replacing the previous points-based system with unified criteria for approving residents to settle in Hong Kong and Macau, aiming to provide applicants with more certainty. The new criteria, announced by the National Immigration Administration, will take effect the day after their announcement.
