Construction has begun on the Lake Elmo Avenue and Highway 36 Interchange Project to improve safety and access. The project includes updating the intersection and ramps, installing concrete barriers, and accommodating pedestrians and bicyclists, following over 200 crashes in the past decade, including three fatal ones.
