Insecurity: Governor dethrones Bayelsa traditional ruler
The governor announced plans to replace the Bayelsa traditional ruler by establishing an electoral committee to elect a new paramount ruler within three months starting 30 June. The traditional ruler was dethroned due to insecurity concerns.
