Three arrested in connection to deadly February drive-by shooting in Hammond, authorities say
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a February gang-related drive-by shooting in Hammond that killed 18-year-old Ravell Javion Steptoe. The arrested individuals include Elliot James and Cormine Thomas, charged with second-degree murder, and DeAlvin Davis, charged as an accomplice. The incident occurred on an interstate ramp when a third vehicle fired at two stopped cars, resulting in Steptoe's death.
