DSA’s third major primary win deepens Democrats’ fight over the party’s future
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) secured a third major primary victory as Melat Kiros defeated incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado's 1st Congressional District. DSA-backed candidates also won primaries in New York City, intensifying the Democratic Party's internal conflict between progressives and the establishment.
