Syria’s Sharaa appoints lawmakers, paving way for new parliament to convene

Syria's Sharaa appoints lawmakers for a 210-member People's Assembly, which will hold its first session on Monday. Selection of representatives for Sweida province is postponed, and 15 women were included in the appointments, increasing the total number of female lawmakers to 21.
