Mandya: Only 5% sowing completed as rainfall deficit hits 35%
Mandya has completed only 5% of sowing due to a 35% rainfall deficit. The Agriculture Department is promoting alternate crops and appointing one nodal agricultural scientist for each of the district’s 30 hoblis to guide farmers.
