Woman accused of stealing vehicle, kidnapping teenager from south Charlotte gas station, court documents say
A 44-year-old woman, Amanda Gills, is accused of stealing a teenager's vehicle and kidnapping him from a gas station in south Charlotte. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but had to arrest Gills after the teen jumped out of the car into traffic. She faces charges of second-degree kidnapping, larceny of a motor vehicle, and fleeing/eluding arrest.
