Police investigate shootings at Benedict Fountain Park and Park Avenue West

Denver Police are investigating two recent shootings: one at Benedict Fountain Park where a suspect fled on a bike, resulting in one hospitalization, and another on Park Avenue West with a non-life-threatening injury. Both incidents occurred within a mile of each other, with the first investigated on July 1, 2026, and the second the prior night.
