Extreme fire behavior expected as Aspen Acres Fire continues to spread

The Aspen Acres Fire has expanded to nearly 50,000 acres in Pueblo and Custer counties, prompting road and highway closures. The Alaska Complex Incident Management Team 1 has assumed command of the wildfire.
