FG to address gas contamination in Niger Delta community
The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has found that the first aquifer in Rivers State's Bille community is contaminated due to nearly a year of toxic gas seepage. Preliminary assessments confirm the contamination in the community located in the Niger Delta region.
