Guilty plea over fake ransom note in Nancy Guthrie disappearance
Derrick Anthony Callella pleaded guilty to two counts of harassment for sending ransom-related texts to Savannah Guthrie’s family during the search for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie. Callella used a VoIP number and was tracked via his Gmail account and IP address, leading to his arrest in California. Nancy Guthrie remains missing six months after she was last seen in Tucson.
