'It's beyond redemption:' Neighbors say decades of code complaints haven't fixed crumbling, abandoned property

A South Nashville neighborhood has struggled with a deteriorating, abandoned property on Southwood Drive for over two decades. Despite 15 complaints in four years and court interventions dating back to 2004, the owner, who lives out of state, has not maintained the property, leading to safety concerns and calls for condemnation.
