Man in custody after fatal shooting outside an elementary school on Detroit’s east side

A man is in custody after a fatal shooting outside Chrysler Elementary School in Detroit on July 2. The incident followed a dispute between three adults, leading to a physical fight where one man was fatally shot. The suspect, a concealed pistol license holder, was arrested at the scene, and the victim was pronounced dead on site. Detroit police homicide investigators are handling the case.
