Radio telemetry almost saved this vulture
A White-rumped vulture named Z25, equipped with a radio tag, was repeatedly aided by data from conservation scientists at Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. Despite the critical information relayed to forest personnel and NGO partners, Z25 collided with a power transmission line before a life-saving action could be taken.
